Dr. Alexandre Brandwajn brings over 30 years of experience in the IT industry in Silicon Valley, California, as well as in Europe. He started his career as researcher at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique et Automatique (IRIA), France, then he was on the Faculty of the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in Paris, where he directed a project in adaptive computer architecture. In 1979, he joined Amdahl Corporation in Sunnyvale, California, where he was a Senior Computer Architect, and later Manager of Systems Analysis group. He founded Pallas International in 1983 to offer performance modeling and capacity planning solutions for storage, RAID as well as SAN systems. He has consulted extensively with several companies such as Storage Tech (Now Sun Microsystems), HDS, etc. in US, as well as companies in Europe in developing custom performance modeling solutions. His areas of expertise include efficient solution of systems with large state space, I/O performance, multimedia/networking problems, and applications of priority systems with finite capacity in modeling Enterprise solutions and architectures.
Alexandre Brandwajn holds an Ingenieur Civil des Telecommunications degree from the Ecole Nationale Suprieure des Telecommunications in Paris, and a Docteur d’Etat degree in Computer Science from the University of Paris VI. Dr. Brandwajn has conducted seminars and training workshops at various conferences, and has published extensively in various journals and periodicals all over the world.
Anil has over 15 years of experience in the areas of capacity planning, performance evaluation, simulation & modeling, wireless and wired network at Fortune 100 companies like Amdahl/Fujitsu, Compaq, Intel, Apple and Vodafone. Anil founded Ezyte Inc. a professional services company offering performance modeling and capacity planning products and services in 1999. In March 2004, following the acquisition of Ezyte, he worked at Procera Networks as the Executive Vice-President and CTO. At Procera, he designed high performance security appliances, as well as a hardware based security platform that provides a wire-speed performance. In 2006, Anil joined as the CTO of AndesIT SA in Chile, offering products and professional services in the areas of capacity planning, performance testing, monitoring and management for enterprise networks and applications for clients in South America. Anil’s mission at Pallas International is business development, in particular, in the area of Professional Services.
Anil has a PhD. In Computer Science with specialization in Performance Modeling and Packet Switching Networks from University of California, M.S. in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh, M.S. in Mathematics from Ohio University, and B.A. (Honors) in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi, India. Anil also has a Masters from Sloan School of Management at MIT with specialization in International Corporate Strategies and New Product Development. Anil has published in various research and business journals, given presentations and seminars all over the world in the area of capacity planning, queuing theory, system performance management, and IT strategy.
